Time to Get Involved





Intoduction










Everyday, Palestinian children are threatened & shot by Israelis’ bullets.
There are assured news that some of famous
( brand- name) companies donate a part of their income to support Israelis financially.


Will you boycott those companies or still pay to Kill Palestinians ?





Task



you are a member in “Save Palestinians” Organization You want to urge people boycott all the companies that donate money to Israelis.



You are going to work in 2 groups to:

1. Design a brochure

2. Write a report

Process & Recources



There are four steps in this Web Quest ,all the class have to do the 1st and 4th steps. Steps 2 & 3 are varied according to the group.


1.Search

2. After discussing your results , your are going to work in groups and do different tasks

Now , you are ready to make your list which includes the names of the companies & the amount of their donations .( You can arrange it in a table )compare your list with your class mates to find if you have missed any info .You can vote for the three top companies we need to boycott.



3. Brochure
Design a brochure that will help convince the class to start boycotting y the companies included .Make sure you high light the top three companies .

Group : B

2. survey
After presenting discussing the list of the companies’ names & their donations, prepare a class survey to find out:

What are the most common names ?

Which companies to boycott first?

How many students are with boycotting and how many are against?

Prepare questions about ( 8 – 10 )
When you are ready, form groups with other classmates and ask them your questions. Make a note of their answers.
When you have interviewed about 5 to 10 classmates, return to your original group and compare your results. Make a note of these results and

prepare to write a report. You should write the report individually, but you can discuss it with your group.

3. Report
You have your list and the results of the survey, you should be ready to write your report.
Work with your group to form the report and write it down .you can exchange your reports with other groups who have the same task . If you want to make any changes to your
own report, you should make them now.

4. Presentation
Group A: present their brochure and expose it to the class , check its effectiveness. You can use a poster or overhead projector .
Group B :Present their report orally to their class mates, you have to take turn in our roles in saving the lives of the Palestinians by boycotting.

5. Debate(Optional)
The whole class will be involved in a ( debate) ..
